The questions clubs, schools and councils ask us most. Not covered here? Call 01923 942600 or send an enquiry.

Do sports changing rooms need planning permission?

Often yes, because they are permanent buildings, but it depends on your site and local authority. Some sites benefit from permitted development rights. We advise on what applies to your project and supply planning drawings when you need them. Always confirm with your local planning authority before ordering.

What do the guide prices include?

Guide prices include the building itself with design and specification. Delivery and installation are quoted separately by postcode, so your written quotation covers the complete job with no surprises.

How long does a changing room take to build?

Manufacture usually takes 8 to 12 weeks from order confirmation. Delivery and installation are then completed in days rather than weeks. If you are applying for grant funding, allow a few extra months for applications first.

What groundworks do I need?

Modular buildings need a level foundation, typically concrete pads, strip foundations or a slab, plus water, drainage and electrical connections nearby. We provide a foundation specification for your chosen plan and advise your groundworker. You arrange the groundworks; we handle everything from delivery onwards.

Can you help with grant funding applications?

Yes, and at no cost. Most clubs part fund their building. We provide floor plan drawings and formal written quotations for Football Foundation, Sport England, council and lottery applications, and we update them whenever a funder asks. Start with our free fundraising pack.

Do your changing rooms meet FA and Sport England requirements?

We will work with you to meet the FA facility requirements and Sport England changing facility guidance that apply to your level. Several of our plans are designed around the FA minimum of 18 square metres of changing space per team room, and we adapt any layout to suit.

Should I choose steel cabin or timber frame?

Steel cabins are galvanised, secure and very low maintenance, ideal for public sites and heavy use. Timber frame buildings offer a warmer appearance with flexible cladding options, ideal where looks matter as much as function. Both are insulated and lined for year-round use, and both can be adapted to any layout.

Can floor plans be changed?

Yes. Every plan on this website can be adapted: sizes, layouts, fittings, cladding and colours all change to suit your site and budget. If nothing fits, we design a new layout around your requirements at no extra cost.

How is the building delivered and installed?

Your building is manufactured off site and delivered by lorry, then craned onto your prepared foundations. Our team installs and connects the building on site and hands it over ready to use. Good site access for the delivery vehicle and crane is important, and we assess this with you before ordering.

What warranty do I get?

Buildings are supplied with the manufacturer’s warranty, confirmed in your quotation, and we provide aftercare following handover. Steel and timber buildings alike are built for decades of service; our Torbay installation looked as good after a year as the day it arrived.

How do I get a price?

Call 01923 942600 or send an enquiry with your team count, site and delivery postcode. We recommend a floor plan and confirm a guide price within two working days, followed by a detailed written quotation.
